This hand-painted glass mural was created for Xiansuo, a community concept store located in the heart of Jing’an, Shanghai. The design draws inspiration from Taiwanese budaixi (traditional glove puppetry and outdoor opera stages), blending it with playful elements of the Year of the Snake. It’s a celebration of cultural storytelling, community spirit, and the joy of seeing folk traditions come to life in contemporary spaces.
